Programma Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the European Union's Program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport. It provides an opportunity for students of any major and course of study to study and train abroad at a partner higher education institution, or to gain work experience through an internship in a company, research institute, laboratory, organization or any other relevant workplace.

The Erasmus+ program provides for two types of mobility: mobility for study purposes (exams, dissertation) and mobility for Traineeship purposes (internship or traineeship including post-graduation). In addition to mobility within the EU, the Erasmus+ program also promotes mobility in Extra-EU countries associated with the program (partner countries). In addition to mobility under the Erasmus+ program, calls for mobility under international cooperation agreements are issued every year.

The Department of Engineering has numerous active Erasmus agreements with several foreign European and non-European universities. The agreements offer the opportunity for study and internship stays to students of all degree programs managed by the Department and concern the possibility of exchanges for both the 1st cycle (Bachelor's degrees) and the 2nd cycle (Master's degrees). Agreements have also been made for the 3rd cycle (PhD) in order to allow study abroad for students of the PhD in Industrial and Information Engineering, managed by the Department. Finally, there are some international cooperation agreements.

The Erasmus and internationalization delegate of the Department of Engineering is Prof. Emilio Di Giacomo.
