From September 22 to 24, 2025, in the Aula Ferdinando Alessandri del Dipartimento di Ingegneriaof the Department of Engineering, Professor Irina Asenova from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport, Sofia (Bulgaria), will deliver a series of seminars on electrical filter synthesis.

Il programma dettagliato è il seguente.

  • Lun 22, 9:30-12:30 Lecture 1: “Symbolic Sensitivity Analysis by Nullor Model and Modified Coates Flow Graph” (3 hours)
  • Mar 23, 9:30-12:30 Lecture 2: “Multiparameter symbolic sensitivity analysis enhanced by nullor model and modified coates flow graph” (3 hours)
  • Mer 24, 9:30-11:30 Lecture 3: “Multiparameter Sensitivity Analysis of the Transfer Function of a T-shaped filter” (2 hours)

The lectures present the main problem in the synthesis of electrical filters. This problem is solved by the methods of the theory of sensitivity of electrical circuits. In its view, the calculation of the multiparametric sensitivity of the transmission function requires finding its derivatives. Determining the sensitivity of circuit functions is a task the resolution of which is essential in the synthesis of electrical and electronic devices of different types and purposes. In the lecture the multiparameter sensitivity analysis of the T-shaped filter is obtained in symbolic form.

All PhD students, faculty members, and Master's degree students are invited to attend.

The Aula Alessandri is located on the second floor of the former DIEI building (Dep. Ingegneria Elettronica e dell'Informazione), with entrance adjacent to the Department's administrative offices.
